Once booked, our ‘Sign & Go’ system speeds up the whole handover process and eliminates last minute problems, therefore;

We ask you to email a copy of your driving licence to us, together with your DVLA check code and one form of ID as proof of address.


On arrival
Please have your licence with you to show for ID
We will book you out on an ipad in the yard, where we will show you round the vehicle and take photos as a damage report. This, together with your rental agreement and final invoice will all be emailed to you.


The vehicle will be full of fuel for you (unless agreed otherwise) We can re-fuel upon your return if that’s more convenient (price on display in office)

An ideal size is our XL Luton vans, either a lo-floor/hi-volume one or one with tailift. They are the biggest thing you can drive on a car licence, and square so you can pack into every corner plus the extra bit over the cab. Or for tight access a narrower LWB Panel van might be best but you can stand up in both. PLUS book a removals kit, consisting of sack barrow, blankets and ties for a complete DIY REMOVALS package !

We are easy to find on the B1108 main Norwich-Watton road in the village of Barford, just 10 minutes from Norwich ring road and 4 minutes from the A47 bypass, N&N Hospital junction. Away from all the rush-hour traffic!

You as the driver, are responsible for all charges regarding Clean Air Zones ( CAZ) nationally and internationally including London’s ULEZ. You can check your vehicle in advance or post-trip on the links below; ( Pay direct as required)

Absolutely! We have free parking with CCTV and 24hr access for out-of-hours returns (at owners risk/ we do not accept liability for loss/damage).

Our minimum age is 25 years old with min.1 years experience, ( 2 years experience for MPVs) and upper age limit is 75yrs when on our insurance. ( subject to our insurer's criteria ) 7.5t hirers have to be pre-approved by our insurer, max age 69, with either regular 7.5t driving experience or full HGV.

No problem! We do a SUPER-FLEXI SPECIAL WEEKEND DEAL ... pickup either Friday by 5pm or Saturday 8-10am and return AT YOUR LEISURE anytime over the weekend, and unlike our competitors, we have free on-site parking so your car is accessible OUT OF HOURS to drive home once you've dropped our hire vehicle back ! (This return facility is all under CCTV, but the vehicle remains your responsibility until the office re-opens.)

Of course! All our vehicles are covered by Main Dealer international network plus an Independent network of agents in the UK and our own team if you are close by! All available 24/7 on a freephone number on your keyfob and on the handout sheet. If you need assistance with tyres, punctures, and windscreens call this number too ( Note; punctures, windscreens, tyre damage, driver error callouts are chargeable) ..... Whatever happens, we wont let you down.

Our rental charges include 'CDW', a charge for insurance cover. This carries an excess of £1000 and is stated on your rental agreement. It is your maximum liability in the event of any damage or theft claim , or any third party claim made against us. (wilful neglect and other exclusions apply, subject to T&Cs on rental agreement) This liability extends to tyre damage, windscreens, mirrors, loss of keys, lock-outs, mis-fuelling, punctures, loss/damage of accessories.

For an additional fee, you have the choice to reduce your liability from £1000 to £500 ask at time of booking or ask to add it to your rental on collection.( 7.5t are excluded) Current tariff is 1-2 days=£15 p day,3-5 days =£10 p day, Weekly £49.98, Weekend £25

We will treat you fairly! Some hire companies have a bad reputation for overcharging for damage etc BUT WE DON’T !! We will advise you of any new defect/damage by email, get a quote/ estimate and recharge you the least amount we can just plus a handling fee of £25 plus vat. For example, if you break a mirror, you just pay us to fit a mirror plus the handling fee, if you write a vehicle off you pay £1000 (or the excess as stated on RA) (exclusions apply) Accidents happen, but please drive carefully, remember the size and height of the vehicle and treat our vehicles with the respect you would give your own car, then everyone is happy 🙂

We can only accept payment by debit card or visa, mastercard credit cards. No cash or cheques.

We usually ‘pre-authorise’ your card for minimum £100 deposit, (£250 for 7.5t) so money doesn’t leave your account but your credit limit is reduced temporarily , just like when you stay at The Hilton !! ( Be aware that the time taken to release funds depends on your card issuer )

Bookings require full payment of estimated charges 24 hours before hire starts ,(the security deposit is pre-authorised on collection) A full refund is given with 2 working days notice ( ie cancel by 5pm Friday for 8am Tuesday booking) otherwise no refund given. If you need to amend or postpone your booking, no charge. We ask for a non-refundable booking deposit at our discretion for MPVs and peak periods. If you have to cancel due to Government COVID19 restrictions we will refund on request.

All our fleet is registered with DART, so we will recharge you £3.50 per crossing to save you the hassle ! Please don't pay again, we can't get a refund. Please PAY AS YOU USE on all other tolls for bridges and tunnels etc. The ONLY account we have is with DARTford Crossing.

We will deal with the notice by completing the paperwork and transferring liability into the hirers name, then email a copy of the notice together with an invoice for Admin fee of £15 plus vat. You can then deal with the notice directly with the issuer.
